QUMA is a community-driven non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the environment. We promote the establishment, restoration, and maintenance of natural upland habitats for quail and other wildlife species.
We host an annual banquet each year to raise funds. Last year’s banquet had over 500 attendees and resulted in enough funds to:
– Provide over 20,000lbs of seed for habitat restoration
– Sponsored free youth fishing and hunting events
– Award scholarships to high school graduates
– Improve over 500 acres of wildlife habitat
– Support our veterans through Honor Flight
– Support the Access Food Project for deer processing
– Provide grant funding to landowners to improve habitat
